One way in which UPS works. The basic structure consists of inverter, battery and switch. The inverter will stop output alternating current when the grid is normal, while the grid AC will supply the load through UPS. If the grid fails(power failure, under voltage, over voltage, etc.), UPS will turn to inverter output mode through the switch. The conversion process has 3-10ms switching time.
