·SNMP Agent
Each of the network equipment has an Agent: some have internal Agent, some need circumscribe SNMP Agent. It mainly responsible for receiving commands from NMS to feedback the network equipment conditions. When they are in trouble, it will send Trap to NMS through Agent.
