There are many EPS brands currently on the market and they adopt various control methods, but according to the types of the carried load EPS can be broadly grouped into the following three types:

First, lighting type, single-phase EPS mainly used for emergency lighting and accident lighting ;

Second, lighting / power hybrid type, three-phase series EPS can be used in air-conditioning, elevator, roller shutter doors, exhaust fans, pumps and other inductive load or a combination of hybrid-power besides emergency lighting and accident lighting;

Third, power-conversion type, inverter series EPS directly supply to the electric motor.
