Technology
(1) High frequency: the power switch of the first generation UPS is controllable silicon, the second generation is large-power transistor or a field effect transistor(FET), and the third generation is IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor).


The speed of the high-power transistor or FET switch is higher than that of the controlled silicon by an order of magnitude, while the capacity and speed of the IGBT power device current is larger and faster than that of the large-power transistor or FET,leaving the working frequency of the converter circuit up to 50kHz.
