Malfunctions |
Cause of the malfunctions |
Troubleshooting Methods |
|
1 |
There is voltage output, but not regular (The voltage meter instructions are not stable) |
1、The voltmeter is bad or inaccurate |
Measure the output voltage with the multimeter to determine whether the instructions of the voltmeter is accurate; if damaged or inaccurate, replace it. |
|
2、Theinput voltage is not within the range of 160V to 250V, the carbon brush is in the ultimate position, and the machine can no longer regulate it |
If the input voltage is out of range, the external input voltage need to be adjusted |
|||
3、Wrong connection (The zero line is missed) |
Three-phase power supply uses three-phase four-wire connection, so itmust be connected with a zero line (If three-phase 1.5kVA~4.5kVA product is not connected with the zero line, the output voltage may be more than 400 volts line voltage or 300 volt line voltage) |
|||
4、Printed Circuit Board sampling voltage is not accurate |
Adjust the potentiometer on the circuit board (To tune clockwisely is to rise the voltage, otherwise to reduce it) |
|||
5、There is too much dust in the product so that the carbon brush is stuck |
Clean the dust inside the products inside the dust, polish the coil grinding to ensure the surface smooth |
|||
6、PCB is broken |
Replace the boards |
|||
7、The motor is in short circuit or stuck, or the motor does not turn |
Replace the motor |
|||
8、The load is frequent started capacitive or inductive load |
Change the starting way of the load, and increase the capacity of the regulator or the power |
|||
9、False welding of the compensational coil zero line (The line is loose) |
Re-weld the zero line |
|||
2 |
No voltage output (The voltage table has no instructions) |
1、Overvoltage or undervoltage result in no output. Input voltage is not within the range. The board’s relevant indicator panel is lit |
Adjust the external input voltage |
|
2、The three-phase product is not connected with the zero line or phase loss. The output contactor does not close. There is no voltage output, the coil carbon brush rotates irregularly. the carbon brush limit switch makes sounds, and the indicators of overvoltage or under-voltage may be irregularly lit |
Strictly connect the cables in accordance with the method of three-phase and four-wire |
|||
3、PCB is broken or the the connector is aging and has bad connection |
Check whether the circuit board connector is loose rust or oxidation. If not, there might be a broken circuit board in need of replacement |
|||
4、The coil is damaged (The user selection is too small or long-term overload so that the coil is in short-circuit and damaged) |
Select a reasonable capacity of regulator according to the above methods |
|||
5、The plug is not inserted firmly, there is no input voltage |
Check the power outlet, so that the plug is inserted firmly. |
|||
6、The fuse is burned |
Replace the fuse with the same type |
|||
7、The output contactor is broken |
Replace the contactor |
|||
8、The output contactor frequent moves, resulting in no voltage output |
Control circuit board is broken, replace the circuit board |
|||
3 |
Not able to regulate the voltage nomally ( The carbon brush is not adjustable) |
1、The electrical circuit board or the motor is broken |
Replace the circuit board or motor |
|
2、No input power |
Check whether the input power is normal (whether the wiring is solid, and whether there is phase loss ) |
|||
4 |
It is normal with no load, but does not work with a load |
1、The zero line is poorly connected |
Check the zero line |
|
2、The ground line is fausely connected as the zero line |
Replace the ground line, and connect the zero line |
|||
3、The load is large, resulting in that the input voltage is lower that the range of stabilivolt |
Increase the power supply capacity, select it by 2 ~ 3 times the load capacity for the inductive load |
|||
4、The input wire is too long or the cross-sectional area is not enough, the line voltage power is large |
Adopt copper wires, or appropriately increase the conductor cross-sectional area. |
|||
tThe product temperature increases with load, and the coil has burnt smell |
5、Overloaded or overwork |
Reduce the load or use large-capacity power supply |
||
6、Low input voltage (Non-compensated voltage regulator. But when the input voltage drops below 198V, the user has to lower the amount of use) |
||||
5 |
Products’ ahassis leakage |
Ground and zero-line reversed |
Connect the ground and the zero line in the right way |
|
6 |
There is product output, but the three-phase output error is large |
1、Three-phase input has error or three-phase output voltage has uneven loads |
Check the input voltage and the output load of three-phase output |
|
2、There is error in potentiometer regulating circuit board |
Adjust the output potentiometer, so that each phase output phase voltage is 220V (adjustable potentiometer according to the voltage between the firewire and the zero line) |
|||
7 |
After started, the motor goes to the extreme position (the carbon brush hit the micro-\) and cannot be reset |
1、The transistor of the circuit board is burned and cannot be a normal sample (eg, 9012; 9013; 8550 will be like this when burned) |
Replace the circuit board |
|
2、The micro switch is broken or stuck |
Replace the Micro Switch |
|||
3、The motor is in internal short-circuit |
Replace the Motor |
|||
8 |
After started the machine does not start correctly |
The carbon brush is in the low-end coil, which often occurs after a power outage . If the power outage before the voltage is too low, when the voltage is normal andbecause the coil is also inductive load, the current impact is too strong and it easily cause the fuse being burned and the product not started properly |
First cut off the power, and check whether the fuse is burned, put carbon brush to the middle of the coil with a screwdriver, and then start again |
|
9 |
There is abnormal noise inside the power supply |
When the carbon brush moves, there is a clear “Carbazole rip” noise or sparking between the carbon brush and the coil |
The connect is poor between the carbon brush and the coil. Too much dust inside the productor other reasons cause the coil grinding uneven, dirty or oxidized |
Remove dust or other impurities, is it can not be eliminated, use fine sandpaper to carefully polish the oxidation part of the coil to make good connection of the carbon brush and the coil. |
Coil noise |
The load is too large of the core is loose |
Reduce the load or replace the coil |
||
Electrical Noise |
Gear is worn off or dislocated |
Replace the electrical or install with a good gear |
||
Output contactor rings |
There is debris or dirt, dust in the contactor core |
Wipe clean or replace the contactor |
